Palesa Ndima was born in Vosloorus, East of Johannesburg and was raised by her mother, as her father passed away when she was 13. She started singing at the age of 7 and knew this was her calling in life. Her love of music was heavily influenced by her late father who used to listen to Ray Charles, Percy Sledge and more. Palesa’s love for Jazz Music morphed into a love for Gospel Music as she sang for many church choirs as Gospel leader
After a few years of pursuing other careers, Palesa’s love for music drew her back in and pushed her to re enter the world of music and release a brand new Afro Jazz Inspired album.
The brand new album – Ke Ngwana Mo Afrika is an uplifting album with a fusion of genres, from afro pop to afro jazz and more in between. The debut single off the album is the powerful song ‘Ke Ngwana Mo Afrika’.
